The Nautical Club of Karlovassi (ΝΑΟΚ) organises the 1st Samian Coarse Angling Tournament on Samos Island on the 6th and 7th of April 2019.
The tournament will take place in Marathokampos reservoir, an artificial lake in southern Samos which has been host the Greek Coarse Angling Championship for the last three years.
Technical information
Participations:
-Athletes from any fishing Club which is member of the official Sport Fishing Federation, member of FIPS, from any country.
-No restriction to the number of participations from each Club.
-No restriction to the age of athlete.
Baits & Groundbaits limits
Baits
2lt baits totally. A maximum amount of 0.5lt of earthworms presented entire (not cut) is allowed in the total baits.
Groundbaits
Maximum of 17 litres ready to use.
Joker, bloodworms, Pellets, meat and artificial baits are forbitten. Any ingredient that maybe cause healthy problems to the fish is also forbitten.
Both baits and groundbaits can be ordered to the organizer.
Rules
- All fish counts to the weighing.
- Maximum length of rod/pole is 13m.
- Allowed techniques are pole fishing, fishing with waggler or slider floats and whip fishing (arborella). Feeder technique is forbitten and also feeder floats are not allowed.
- Maximum number of athletes is 30 and the minimum is 20.
- If the registered athletes are less than 20, the Tournament will be cancelled.
- If more than 30 athletes register, then the athletes who registered first have priority and the last athletes after the 30rd athlete will not be registered.
- There will be 4 or 5 main sectors with min 5 and max 7 athletes each, and 1 technical sector with maximum 3 athletes who will compare with the nearest athletes from last main sector.
